The on-demand educational series are geared towards nurses and direct care staff/caregivers who work directly with individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI), intellectual disabilities (ID), and complex neurological conditions. The clinical tools are resources that allow the nurses and direct care staff/caregivers to identify interventions and promote optimal outcomes.

Clinical Educators
Gregory M. Stelmach, OT/L
Gregory Stelmach is the President of VRNS, where Gregory oversees the clinical and business operations of its various entities, including Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services, Home Again Healthcare, Visiting Rehab Services, vrnsSME, and vrnsEDU.
Gregory is the co-founder of Visiting Rehab Services. This innovative model brought in-home outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy services to individuals who could not access services. With the acquisition of Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services/Home Again Healthcare, Gregory continues to provide patient-centered, specialty nursing and therapy home healthcare services. With the vision of “Optimal Wellness at Home” and as an Occupational Therapist, Gregory continues to develop unique product/service lines such as vrnSME and vrnsEDU . VrnsSME provides specialty medical equipment to individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI). VrnsEDU provides best-practice webinars and tools to promote optimal clinical outcomes.
Gregory enjoys spending time with his family away from the office, including coaching his daughter and son’s athletic teams. As an avid sports fan, he enjoys rooting for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and Clemson Tigers. Kim Martel, COTA/L
Kim Martel is the SME Coordinator for vrnsSME, where Kim oversees all aspects of providing specialty/durable medical equipment from start to finish, including providing clinical insight into the best product to making sure the item gets delivered to the individual’s home.
Kim Martel is an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Kim has 23 years’ experience working with adult physical, cognitive and mental health disabilities. Kim’s areas of expertise include strategies for pressure relief through positioning, modalities for pain, contracture and stroke recovery management.
Kim has been with Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services since February 2020 focusing on increasing the delivery of SME needs to waiver individuals.
Kim has 6 children and 5 grandchildren and enjoys her time spent with family.
